ABSTRACT:
Ayurvedic medicines are mostly obtained from natural sources like plant roots, leaves, fruits, bark and seeds. It is oldest alternative medicine system and has been proved its therapeutic efficacy and usefulness. Very less or no adverse effects and side effects is the major advantage of Ayurvedic medicines in comparison to allopathic or other alternative medicine system. But problems like slow onset of action and prolong therapy time are occurs incase of ayurvedic medicine. But these problems we can solved by optimizing the ayurvedic medicines by preparing the Ayurvedic medicines in the form of Nano formulations like Nanosuspension, Nanoemulsion, Solid lipid Nanoprticles etc. is prooved from this experiment.
