ABSTRACT:
In the present study, a series of 1-substituted imidazolidine dione derivatives were synthesized by condensing various substituted phenyl urea derivatives with benzyl in the presence of Base Sodium hydroxide and Ethanol by Pinacol-Pinacolone Rearrangement Reaction. The functional groups of the synthesized analogues were elucidated by FT-IR spectroscopy. The molecular docking study was performed for all the synthesized compounds to assess their binding affinities to GABA-A Receptor in order to rationalize their anti-convulsant activities in a qualitative way. The compounds have been subjected to molinspiration software to predict the druglikeness properties and the results were according to Lipinski rule of five. Toxicity risk assessments were evaluated using OSIRIS property explorer. Molecular Docking Study were performed using Autodock 4.2 version against the target GABA-A. Based on the binding affinity, Compound containing NH2 substituent in the phenyl ring of N1 potentiate the GABA agonistic activity.
